Family Planning

HLFPPT contributes to National Family Planning Programme by:

  • Social Marketing of contraceptives, thus offering increased basket of choice
  • Counseling on family planning methods & empowering couples with informed choice
  • Building capacities of health providers on family planning services
  • Creating a network of affordable health facilities with family planning services

Maternal & Child Healthcare

HLFPPT works for:

  • Spreading awareness on pregnancy & newborn care among underserved communities
  • Providing antenatal care, institutional deliveries, postnatal care, immunization, etc
  • Managing a Social Franchising health network that offers quality MCH services
  • Educating communities on exclusive breastfeeding, childhood diarrhea management, etc

Adolescent Healthcare

HLFPPT works for:

  • Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) issues
  • Government’s Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) as a National Training Partner
  • Imparts Life Skills Education to the youth as per WHO guidelines
  • Promotes menstrual health management among adolescent girls

    Mr. Amar Prasad, IFS (R), Director- (CSR), (PTC Foundation Trust) New Delhi

    PTC Foundation (Trust) with financial support of PTC India Financial Services (PFS) under its CSR initiative has inked a MoU with Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (HLFPPT) to provide basic health services at the doorstep of the urban poor in the remote areas of three districts of Delhi/NCR. Under this initiative, three Mobile Health Clinics have been operationalized and working for targeted population who have less access to the existing health care facilities.

    This project is popularized as “Sehat Ki Sawari” to provide free doorstep delivery of healthcare services in these  districts of Delhi for the next three years. We are thankful to HLFPPT for providing a dedicated and specialized team who are serving the humanity very efficiently.

    I am confident that, this effort by us would surely improve the health status of the underprivileged population living in the Jhughi – Jhopri (JJ) and slum areas of Delhi by the health awareness activities and service delivery through Health Camps.

    We are happy to reach the underserved community through this project  in partnership with HLFPPT and look forward to viable impact in the society.

Post training, I was assessed by HSSC through written test and Lab practical/Viva, and successfully placed at Aastha Hospital, Lucknow
