As a leading national public health organisation in RMNCH+A (Reproductive, Maternal, Newbron, Child Adolescent Healthcare), HLFPPT places special emphasis on building and maintaining Strategic Partnerships with multiple stakeholders. Its ability to sustain strong alliances built on trust and credibility is the key behind its versatile partners’ portfolio, which includes government departments and organisations, corporate sector, international bodies, funding agencies, etc.

HLFPPT has pursued Strategic Partnerships through expansion of its grant portfolio, diversification of donors portfolio, and scale-up of its proven social business models. The Business Development Team at HLFPPT has successfully contributed towards resource mobilisation for HLFPPT through getting new projects from significant development support agencies including States NHM, UNICEF, USAID, UNFPA, Global Fund, CHMI, Institute for Reproductive Health (Georgetown University), Antara Foundation, etc, and also from leading CSR Foundations such as DLF, Apollo Tyres, AkzoNobel, Ostro Energy Pvt Ltd, Suzlon Foundation, etc.

As a first of its kind, a tripartite MoU has been signed between HLFPPT, GB Nagar District Health Society and SSPHPGTI Noida for establishing a Centre of Excellence DEIC in UP.

It has also entered into some significant Strategic Partnerships such as MoU with ICM (International Confederation of Midwives) that has made HLFPPT the official strategic in-country partner of ICM for India for facilitating operationalisation of the Midwifery Services Framework (MSF) for Developing Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal and Newborn Health (SRMNH) services in India. Also MoU with Kessel Medintim has focus on capacitating private providers in India on new international health technologies & products; MoU with Intellecap for piloting NCD Microlab at Apollo Merrysilver Bangalore Centre; MoU with M4M for collaborating efforts to seek funding opportunities for performance measurement projects, etc.

Moreover, the team has forayed into Individual Fundraising, using Global Givings Crowd Funding platform on which it has won three projects, namely Safe Motherhood Project, Family Planning Project and Saving Mothers and Babies with Innovative Tools.
