National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC) & HLFPPT signed an agreement for operationalizing and project implementation to improve the quality of health services. The objective of this project is to promote economic and developmental activities for the benefit of members of Backward Classes living below double the poverty line through State Channelizing Agency and RRBs/PSBs. Under its CSR activities, NBCFDC is organizing two types of Medical Camps viz GMC (General Medical Camps) and SMC (School Medical Camps) on PAN India basis for the duration of two years (19-21).
Recently, In Silver Jubilee Expo organized at Pallakad, Kerala; HLFPPT has organized a free General Medical Camp. During the camp, various health specialists like General Physician, ENT Specialist, Ophthalmologist, and Gynaecologist with an on-the-spot facility to perform free Blood Pressure, Random Blood Sugar, Haemoglobin Test, Eyes Testing etc were available. After the eye-testing, spectacles and other necessary medicines were also distributed to the beneficiaries. Since September 2019, total 09 General Medical Camps and 01 Transgender Health cum awareness camp organized with a total of 3433 OPDs, 38 ECGs and 670 RBS Tests and 432 OPDs & 53 RBS test were done respectively.
