MMU has saved me from leprosy. During routine visit to our village, MMU health team diagnosed my skin patch as leprosy, counselled my family for the need for treatment, linked me with Primary Health Centre at Shibpur, and also conducted timely follow-ups. Today, I am living a disease-free life

Being a farmer’s daughter, I grew up in constraints and wanted to support my father. So when HLFPPTs Skill Development Team came to our village for community mobilisation, I got myself enrolled for GDA course at Model Skill Centre, Kapurthala in Lucknow. Post training, I was assessed by HSSC through written test and Lab practical/Viva, and successfully placed at Aastha Hospital, Lucknow

HLFPPTs training on IUCD, using Zoe Model and audio/visual content, has significantly improved my performance in terms of number and quality. Before training, I was performing 4-5 IUCD insertions per month, which has now increased to nearly 13. Client satisfaction has increased too with lesser number of infections or complications

(28), working as GDA at Jwala Hospital, Lucknow

A three-month course in GDA has given me a dignified source of income after years of struggle. Financial challenges had forced me to drop studies after intermediate and take up menial jobs. However, recent training by HLFPPT under PMKVY has earned me skills, reward money and immense self-confidence. Today, I feel worthy and it feels great
