MMU Assam team got appreciation for outstanding service against COVID-19 on 74th Independence Day 2020
In this fight against the pandemic of COVID-19, MMU Assam has contributed immensely by going the extra mile apart from their normal duties. All staff of Assam MMU team has selflessly rendered their services in joining hands with the State Health Department in the fight against Corona. District Health Authorities have acknowledged our hard work and appreciation have been bestowed on the following employees on the eve of Independence Day.
Mr. Bishal Ojah – Project Officer based out of Sonitpur district joined on Feb’18 is looking after the entire belt from Dhemaji to Nagaon district covering 12 MMU’s. Apart from his regular task, he was given the responsibility of coordinating for the COVID test of the suspected cases and quarantined people. He and his team are to collect swabs and coordinate with district epidemiologist and plan the COVID tests of the contacts of the COVID positive cases while maintaining proper documentation during the process. Bishal contribution was appreciated on Independence Day as “COVID Warrior” for successfully managing his tasks.
Mr. Himangshu Deka – Himangshu Deka is engaged with MMU as Lab technician from March’18 in the Udalguri district. His efforts were immensely appreciated by the Khoirabari circle office on Independence Day with an appreciation letter. In this pandemic, he was engaged in various locations for Swab collection which also include working late at night while screening passengers from inter-district at the bus terminal.
Mr. Cheniram Chutia – Cheniram Chutia joined MMU on July’17 in the district of Dhemaji. His contribution towards the COVID pandemic was appreciated and honored with a trophy and an appreciation letter by the district health authority for his immense contribution in swab collection in various remote locations of Dhemaji district which also included collection if Swab from district Jail.
Mr. Dwipjyoti Kalita – Dwipjyoti Kalita is working with MMU from December’17 in Baksa district as a Lab Technician. He got appreciation on the auspicious Independence day by the Sub-divisional officer of Tamulpur. His contribution to swab collection was immensely appreciated.
Ms. Simi Borah – Simi Borah joined MMU 13th of July’20. After joining she was asked to do COVID duty which includes the collection of a swab from various locations. She was appreciated by the Sub-divisional health officer of Sivsagar district on the 15th of August’20 for her hard work.
Ms. Pallavi Kalita Phukan – Pallavi Kalita Phukan was engaged with MMU sibsagar from starting of the project i.e July’17. Her hard work and dedication came into limelight in this pandemic where she was engaged in swab collection in various locations. Her contribution was recognized and appreciated by Sub-divisional health officer of Nazira block on the 15th of August.
