Health Camp organized to empower Transgender in Vijayawada, AP

In collaboration with NBCFDC, HLFPPT organized a Health Camp exclusive for Transgender (TG) Community for extending the benefit of free health check-ups and medicines at Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) on 28 January 2020. The camp was inaugurated by the General Manager of NBCFDC in the gracious presence of Project Director, Additional Project Director and JD-TI from APSACS and Mr. Chary (ADM &HO). The event was also witnessed by the consultants of NBCFDC.

The main motto of this camp was to address the primary healthcare need of the community who are marginalized in mainstream society. A Cooperating session was also conducted by HLFPPT to understand the issues being faced by TGs on a daily basis in which Project Director of State Aids Control Society (SACS) interacted with the TG community.
